|
|
|
| Swansong Expedition explored the North Pacific at the equator and Eastern Tropical Pacific on ARGO. The expedition collected large water samples for analysis, studied the Cromwell Current (Pacific Equatorial Undercurrent), and undertook a limited biological program for the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission. This was the last Scripps expedition headed by John Knauss. |
